On August 27, 2023, Vice Minister of Energy Asqat Khasenov visited the Karaturun group of fields, including "Karaturun Sea," "Karaturun East," "Karaturun Northeast," and "Karaturun South." During the working trip, he visited wells 302, 303, 305-N, 303-ST, and 24-G, as well as the water protection dam and the residential camp to familiarize himself with the progress of the activities aimed at accident mitigation.
On August 28, 2023, a working meeting was held with the participation of experts, veterans of the oil and gas industry, and project institutes. Representatives from "Buzachi Oil" LLP, the Accident Elimination Headquarters, and drilling companies convened to continue providing technical consultation.
